Elbows up! Kick, Punch and Crunch with Melissa Plumeau is an effective way to target legs, arms and abs with three class segments. This express 20-minute water fitness instructor video can include optional drag equipment for the upper and lower body segments, and a small ball for the abs segment, but equipment is not necessary.

CLASS-AT-A-GLANCE
This instructor video does not include a warm-up or cool down because this express content is designed to be used as a segment or segments in a regular aquatic fitness class.  The action is broken into three segments.
Class Segment 1:  Kicks
This class segment includes six innovative kick-themed exercises that target the legs. Each of the kicks is performed for 30 seconds, followed by 15 seconds of recovery. The six kicks are then repeated a second time. Equipment is not required; however, the Aqualogix Lower Body Drag Resistance Ankle Fins can be worn if your facility has them
Class Segment 2: Punches
In this segment, two punch combinations are instructed for 2 minutes each, with a 30 second recovery between them.  Equipment is not required, but webbed gloves or Aqualogix Upper Body Drag Resistance can be used.
Class Segment 3: Crunches
In this segment, three crunch combos are performed for 45 seconds each, followed by 15 seconds of recovery. A small ball is used for the abs segment, but a flotation belt or noodle can be substituted.

We hope you enjoy this express video.  Fitmotivation extends a big thank you to Melissa for contributing her knowledge and class ideas. Check out her full library of Fitmotivation videos and stay tuned for two more videos with her posting this fall.
