NEW VIDEO COMMENT FEATURE

What changed?
Fitmotivation switched from a custom-built comment system to a third party networked community platform called Disqus.  Disqus is used by thousands of sites all over the web.  Chances are you have already used it if you frequent websites and blogs.

What do I have to do now to post a comment on a video?
In addition to logging in to Fitmotivation.com, you will have to log in to Disqus to post a video comment if you are not already logged in.  If you do not already have an account, you will have to create one.  This is done in three simple steps:  1) User name  2) Email  3) Password.   An email will be sent upon account set-up asking you to verify email address.

Do I have to log-in to Disqus every time I post a comment?
Hopefully not.   As this is a new third party system, we cannot answer that at this time.  I have read LOTS of Disqus reviews and some say frequent log-ins are required and others say that accounts stay logged in for the most part.

Can I log in with Google, Facebook or Twitter?
Yes you can – but until the comment system has been in place for awhile and we get feedback from users…we think it might be just as easy to create a Disqus account and simply log in with Disqus.

Why was this change made?
People were posting the nicest comments on the videos.  The problem was that nobody could reply to the comments (except me).  Improving the comment system now allows for conversation threads and optimal engagement.  The video instructors can now respond to questions and comments on their workouts and subscribers can engage and learn from one another in a community platform.

Isn't logging in to post a comment annoying?
Yes and I’m sorry.  All we can do is TRY this new system as the opportunity to create engagement within the Aqua Nation is well worth it.  Your feedback is important.  Let me know if you have problems trying to post a comment.  If this does not work out we will simply try another system.

THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE!
Thanks in advance for your patience and for posting comments on the videos.   Your comments on videos encourage others to subscribe to the site.   More subscribers allows Fitmotivation to invest more money in producing awesome videos AND improving your user experience.
