The Fitmotivation Streaming Videos launched on November 14, 2014. Every November since the launch, we have celebrated the anniversary by upgrading the site with new features. Welcome to Fitmotivation 4.0! What changed and what is planned for the coming months?
NEW LOOK!
The first thing you will notice when you login is an all-new look. We gave the site a facelift by changing up colors, adding images and expanding content. The HOME PAGE is the most noticeably changed with spiffy new banners and a dedicated area for the latest news, including the annual 6-MONTH HOLIDAY SPECIAL. See more details on this below.
EXPRESS VIDEOS
The video page got a new edition. In the Categories, you will now see a purple tab for Express Videos. Going forward, two Express Videos will take the place of one full-length video each month. These EXPRESS VIDEOS are all between 12-20 minutes in length. The Express feature was created thanks to customer feedback. One of the most consistent comments subscribers provide when cancelling is that they simply have no time to view the videos. The new Express feature is designed to minimize viewing time, allowing an instructor to quickly take away some ideas for their classes. The added bonus is that subscribers will receive DOUBLE the content with this new feature. The Express Videos are an experiment and we will be anxious to hear your feedback.
SEARCH BY INSTRUCTOR
Thanks once again to subscriber feedback; we implemented a “Search by Instructor” field located above the categories on the VIDEO PAGE. Fitmotivation now has 150 streaming videos led by 34 Aqua Experts. Subscribers can now search videos by clicking on their favorite instructors.
ENHANCED MOBILE VIEWING
Nearly 40% of subscribers are accessing the site on their smartphones. Prior to this upgrade, viewing the full website on a smaller screen was a bit cluttered and confusing because the site has so much content. Fitmotivation’s lead web tech fixed the problem by creating an enhanced mobile viewing experience by stripping out unnecessary content and leaving only the most important things – like watching videos. With that said, subscribers can still sign-up, read blogs and take AEA CEC quizzes all from the convenience of their smartphones.

NOTES UPGRADE
Big changes are coming to the notes and I am far too excited about this to spill the beans just yet. Stay tuned as we are hoping for a project completion on this by the end of March 2019.
BLOG UPGRADE
Fitmotivation Inc will be launching a second site soon. The purpose of this second site will be to provide a subscription service exclusively for water fitness enthusiasts comprised of follow-along pool exercise videos and audio downloads. Creating this second site allows us to gear Fitmotivation content exclusively towards aquatic fitness professionals. Yep! We are excited about going fully unchained with all-out education. The blog upgrade will allow for more rich media content, embedding smaller educational videos into the blogs to enhance learning and improve instructor skills. The blog has also been re-branded as Aqua Nation News. Stay tuned as we hope to launch this blog upgrade feature in Winter 2019.
CORPORATE ACCOUNTS
The changes and upgrades made over the last four years are all thanks to customer feedback. One of the questions we get asked frequently is whether a facility can subscribe and register all of their instructors with separate accounts. The answer unfortunately has been NO. The current infrastructure does not support that. The only recourse a facility has is to subscribe and make the site available to instructors on a centralized computer or device at a facility. And many facilities have subscribed and are using the site in this manner. However, instructors would naturally prefer to view videos on their own devices in the convenience of their own homes. Currently, it is not possible for more than one person to be logged into an account because safeguards were put in to prevent account misuse. Coming later this spring, Fitmotivation Corporate Accounts will be available. These accounts will allow facilities to purchase separate accounts for their instructors allowing them to have their own username and password and the ability to access the site in their own home and on their preferred devices.
HOLIDAY SPECIAL
It’s that time of year again! For the past couple years, Fitmotivation has offered a 6-MONTH HOLIDAY SPECIAL priced at $74.75 for a Basic Plan and $124.75 for a Premium plan. This pricing reflects 6 months for the price of 5 months – hence the special! Fitmotivation subscriptions were a popular holiday gift last year!
Four years and 150 videos later, Fitmotivation has become an indispensable training tool for instructors all across the world. Thank you to all who have tried the site and thanks especially to those loyal subscribers who make this site possible with their ongoing support.
