Laurie Denomme Laurie Denomme, B. Kinesiology and Fellow of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute is an international fitness educator with 25 years experience in aquatics. Recognized for her innovative approach to exercise, Laurie is the recipient of the 2014 ATRI Tsunami Spirit Award and 2013 AEA Global Aquatic Fitness Professional Award.  She is the founder of WECOACH, a unique water and land exercise program.  Unlike most other exercise programs developed on a single plane of movement, WECOACH uses 6 directional movements targeting total body functionality.  Regardless of age, experience or fitness level, WECOACH programs are helping fitness professionals and individuals in the comfort of their home to move and feel better.  Best known for her innovative Stretch Fusion workouts, Laurie has collaborated with industry experts to develop new education programs for aquatic exercise professionals, including Aquatic Options, AquaStretch, WECOACH workouts, and the soon be released, BioExercise. Top consumer magazines, including Shape and Weight Watchers have solicited her expertise and experience.  She is a contributing author to training manuals for professionals, including the AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Manual and AEA Arthritis Foundation Program Leader Guide.  Over the last 15 years, she has presented at industry conferences including IDEA, DCAC, IAFC, CanFit Pro and internationally in the UK, Netherlands and Japan.
